Sushi Nachos

Elevate your traditional Sushi Bake by making Sushi nachos! Yes, that's right - these "nachos" are typically made by layering crispy wonton chips or tempura seaweed with salmon, crab, avocado, and various toppings. Sushi nachos offer a delightful blend of textures and flavors, combining the crunchiness of nachos with the freshness and umami of sushi. These are a great, High Protein, lunch option that is very simple to make!

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Start by slicing your wonton wrappers in half (diagonally) to make them into triangle pieces.
    Wonton wrappers
  • Place onto a large baking sheet (*grease the baking sheet prior*) and spray with oil (can brush on oil too - I recommend evoo or avocado oil).
    EVOO or Avocado oil spray
  • Cook in the oven for about 5 minutes (keep an eye on them - once the edges just start to darken slightly, take them out). Remove from the sheet right away and place onto a plate.
  • Cook your salmon in the air fryer (I cook mine at 390 for about 10-12 minutes and seasoned with garlic powder and pepper).
    8 oz cooked salmon
  • Place your crab meat into a medium bowl and shred into small pieces.
    8 oz imitation crab meat
  • Once your salmon is done, place into the same bowl and mash/shred with a fork and incorporate it into the crab.
  • Add your mayo, cream cheese, and sriracha. Mix until fully combined.
2 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 2-4 spoonfuls of sriracha
  • Place into a square baking dish or any dish you would like to have your nachos on.
  • Top with your sliced avocado and drizzle on more sriracha. Sprinkle on some green onion and sesame seeds.
seaweed, avocado, sesame seeds, sriracha, green onion
  • Plate your wonton chips and seaweed strips with your crab meat and you are ready to enjoy!
  • You can also top this by doing a layer on wonton chips on the bottom and spreading the mixture on top and adding your toppings after.- I found the other way better, but have fun with it!
  • If you read all the instructions first and manage your time with this recipe, it can easily be made in under 30 minutes.
